Wordless Wednesday

I am still waiting for the rain to stop.
  It's been 87 years 87 days  87 hours and 87 minutes.
It better stop soon or my dad will have to build an ark.

  1. We have had the same problem here. We think the rain has finally stopped, but we have quite the river running along our fence line where we like to race with our neighbors - MUDVILLE!!!

  5. Oh no! An ark? That might be fun but not if it were essential for escaping the rain. I hope the sun shines soon!

Wells, the rain is comin' back tomorrows and won't leave til Sunday...sigh. Hey, if you do build that ark, swing by and pick me up!

As you look ahead at the New Year, people inevitably ask you about your New Year's resolutions. For many, weight loss, exercise or improving relationships are near the top of the list of responses. Generally, these resolutions reflect aspects of our lives that we are not happy with and the change in the calendar serves to remind us that time is running out. A smaller number of people respond to the prompt by making specific plans to affect the change. An even smaller number stick with the plans long enough to experience the benefit of the change.

  8. Summer will come...eventually!
