Flower Friday

We are joining Miss Rosy for

Did you know Rosy, Arty, & Jakey  have a new blog?
You can find them HERE.

Remember last week when I showed you my Tulips?

Guess what?

They bloomed!!!!!
Last week. Buds

                                                           I knew they would open.
Here's the secret to getting them to bloom.
You have to promise not to tell anyone!!!!!

First you have to look close at the photo.
Did you guess what they are planted in?
Look again, maybe scroll back up to the first photo.
It's a recycled plastic container. In it's former life it
was a ice cream bucket. My dad drilled holes in the bottom.
I want you to know everything is better with ice cream!
Don't worry me and dad ate the ice cream first.
Mom has another one in a red container
can you guess what we recycled ?

Mom decided to use the plastic containers incase
she had to carry them into the shed if it snowed.

  3. Your red tulips are absolutely beautiful, Astro!

  4. That's a good idea to plant the bulbs in those containers. Your tulips are very pretty. We don't have anything blooming yet around here.

  5. As long as you got to share in that ice cream before the tulips took them over, we are cool with that:) We just might have to get Mom to try that too.
