Old Barns

Sometimes when Mom and Dad have to go across town they take the back roads.
Mom likes old broken down barns and will make dad stop so she can get a photo.

These were taken a few weeks ago.

Mom had no idea there was a cow by the barn.
That happens when you use a cell phone to take photos.

Sunday Drives are the best.

Have a wonderful Easter.

  3. Our Dad's father owned a tobacco farm and there were all kinds of barns and sheds in their home town. Mom says it was always fun for her to see the barns since she was a real city girl.

  9. Oh the memories you've brought back (thank you!). Love your photos ... in my young days, riding motorcycles ... on "blue" roads we'd always see so many wonderful old barns and farms, and many had big advertising signs (albeit faded ones) on the sides! And then there was my watercolor teacher who could paint the best 'n' meanest barn you ever saw and put me to shame with my watery-mess. Again, great pics, thanks for sharing.
